♥ And now: A meme!! Stolen from tjs_whatnot. Reply with a "Me plz" and I will:

1. Tell you why I friended you. If I remember. (If I don't I might make up an entertaining and complex 'how we met' story!)
2. Associate you with something.
3. Tell you something I like about you.
4. Rec you a song/fic/icon I think you'd like.
5. Associate you with a character/pairing.
6. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
7. Tell you my favorite userpic of yours.
8. Suggest that you post this in your own journal so I can play again. :))(though you may feel free to ignore that part!)

1. I saw you talking to Nome and decided you were awesome and I wanted to talk to you too.

2. I mainly associate you with cannibalism, murder, and really bad/really awesome horror movies. These are all positive associations.

3. I love that you are not only unfazed by my creepiness but can contribute productively to it! Yay bad influences!

4. I already did this with Snow Ghosts... I can't think of anything else right now.

5. Hannigram.

6. Have you ever had any body parts removed? (appendix, wisdom teeth, extra heart, etc.)

7. My favourite icon of yours is the one you used on this post.

All the credit for this icon goes to Nome for her Trinity Blacio floggings.

Yes, I've had a lot of teeth removed. I have an overcrowding problem, so my teeth have been a thing of nightmares since I was a kid. I used to have my front two teeth coming in at right angles to each other, a canine growing over the top of an incisor etc. So teeth removed -- some of it not going according to plan -- braces and retainers for years, and then my wisdom teeth started to come through sideways (AND WERE IMPACTED!) so I had them taken out in one hit back in 2001. I couldn't eat solid food for two weeks and was tripping out on painkillers and it was great something. The day I could eat solid food was the day I had a box of chips and went to see Hannibal in a theatre. I'd read the book during my recovery so...excellent timing on movie release.

I used to be able to claim that I've never broken any bones, but then I tripped over and broke a toe a couple of years ago.

I don't usually go in for this sort of thing but why not. Me please.

1. I have no recollection of how I friended you, but it was probably Evil_Erato's fault. Most of the best things are.

2. Creepy eyes.

3. I like that you get the whole "anxiety disorder is not a choice" thing.

4. You might like the Shoregrave books by Naomi Clark (http://naomijay.blogspot.com/p/urban-fantasy.html). She's currently publishing Undertow free, chapter by chapter, on her site.

5. Raistlin Majere

6. WHY the creepy eyes? WHYYYYY???

I've always had two things I've loved eyes and human skulls (animal skulls don't do as much for me). I'm not precisely sure why I feel so attracted to eyes. They have always seemed to be the most mystical part of a person. I know its a cliché but they really are windows the to the soul. Sometimes looking someone in the eyes can tell you more in a moment than talking to them for hours. Words can lie, it takes a great deal of practice for someone to lie with their eyes. I also happen to find them esthetically pleasing like human skulls although for different reasons.

As to why all my icons are eyes, its a touch of my OCD manifesting. Each eye icon I have is meant to convey a mindset, mood, physical condition, topic, ect. I don't select which icon I use at random. They all mean something to me and each one carries a little glimpse into what's going on in my head at the time I post it. The names of the icons are sometimes clues (sometimes dead giveaways) but sometimes not. Sometimes the connection is in my mind only but I am fairly consistent in their use even still. It's sort of like an easter egg that gives insight into what's going on in my head at the time of the post/response. If someone bothered to do so you could probabaly figure out what each ment based on what I was doing when I posted, where I am, what the post is about, what my attitude in the post is, ect. Thus far no one has figured out my eye-con code or if they have they haven't told me.

Raistlin Majere is my hands down favorite character in that whole series of books. I need to find an eye with an hourglass in it. :)

I'll check out that link you posted when I get home. Thanks!
